Workers Compensation Made Easy

How can Exercise Physiology make your job easier? This FREE CPD workshop is designed to assist GP’s in navigating the WorkCover WA system and how Exercise Physiology can help.

The presentation will include:

  • Addressing the WorkCover WA Clinical Framework
  • The importance of early intervention
  • What should GP’s expect from treating Exercise Physiology providers
  • Functional capacity reports providing the confidence to complete WorkCover WA certificates for RTW plans.

Telehealth in the Workers Compensation System

Absolute Balance’s Telehealth CPD session is an online session that has been developed to assist GP’s in assessing patients with Musculosketetal injuries, through a telehealth platform.

The  presentation will cover:

  • Assessing the ROM for shoulder, lower back and knees
  • How to fill out the WorkCover WA certificates
  • How Absolute Balance Exercise Physiology can help in the treatment of patients

Absolute Balance has been using dynamic neuromuscular stabilisation to assist with injury prevention and worker’s compensation rehabilitation for a variety of injuries. Neural Fx , an adaptation of dynamic neuromuscular stabilisation is based around five key interacting principles: Respiration, core stabilisation, quality of support, body movement awareness, and joint segment centration.
